Continuing the family theme is The Family Rain. A Bath-born trio of well-bearded brothers with impressively ironed suits and matching shoes, they come with big ideas and the words to match. Guitarist Ollie Walter told NME: “This is not meant to be a small thing. We gave up everything to do this. We want to bring the excitement back to guitar music.” Only time will tell whether this lot will truly be revolutionary. And as good as their only available song is, 'Trust Me... I'm a Genius', I'll need more proof that they are to fulfil these bold promises before I go buying any posters. Listen to their debut single below, a rollicking 2 minutes 13 of defiant rock.
